Deanndra Deblack

Deanndra Deblack, a native of Monroe, WI, began playing the violin at age six. She is trained in classical music and fiddle tunes. She also studied piano, voice, acting, tap, jazz, ballet and pointe for thirteen years.
She is a proud member of both the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Deanndra has also performed with the Rockford and the Dubuque Symphony Orchestras. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Lawrence University in 2005, where she studied with Anton Miller. Deanndra was Principal Second Violin and Assistant Concertmaster of the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra and was awarded yearly scholarships by the Lawrence Conservatory of Music.
                                   

In 2002, Deanndra and her husband, Xavier, began their violin duet business. They love playing violin duets together for many different events (). In June of 2006 Deanndra and Xavier became certified, from the University of New Hampshire Violin Craftsmanship Institute, in bow rehair and repair, where they studied with renowned bow maker Lynn Hannings. Deanndra also received her Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in May of 2007 from MATC, where she studied with estate planning lawyer Anne Schacherl.

Whenever she has time off she enjoys reading, watching comedies, taking photographs, organizing, and using her creativity. Deanndra loves taking walks with her husband and their two dogs. Everyday, she is humbled that God filled her with love for music!
